Though born in Cologne and educated in Dusseldorf, Rolf Kluenter’s paintings and installations evoke an unmistakable Asian air. He taught at the Tribhuvan University Campus of Fine Arts in Katmandu, Nepal for several years before settling in Shanghai, where he lives today.
